We had a great weekend, was a pretty expensive one at that! We had to get Oscar, our pool sweeper, fixed today and we all went clothes shopping as well. We’re a pretty stylin’ family with our new rags! We finished our shopping and came home where Alyssa and Mom got busy painting a new bird house for the backyard. Alyssa did most of it, and it’s just beautiful. The final layer of varnish is drying currently, andwe will be filling it with birdseed and getting it hung up tomorrow evening. Maddie stayed inside with Daddy at this time and practiced rolling in the opposite direction, lots of squaks were heard from where Alyssa and Mom sat. After we were done with that, it was TO THE SWINGS, where Alyssa loved to wind the swing up and spin like a mad red head. Afterward we went to Mimi and Poppy’s house for their 24th anniversary dinner where we also saw Gigi and Great Grandpa Seitz. I wish we had some photos because Alyssa took her Jeep for a wild spin around their huge backyard, while Maddie sat in her swing gnawing on an apple.
We have a pretty busy week ahead of us with work, kids and chores. We’re going out on Tuesday for Alvin and the Chipmunks (AKA: Chickmunks by Alyssa), and Sweeney Todd (AKA: Johnnybaby, by Melanie). Two out of the four of us are excited, the other two simply don’t care or are currently rolling their eyes. Let the swooning commence! Best wishes for a good week! We will update soon!
